Gather the appropriate materials to assemble a Truck Mounting Bracket.
- Welded Aluminum Bracket
- #10 Yellow Brass Chain (#100-520-01)
- Strap Spring (#100-520-02)
- 3/8" Vinyl Braided Tubing (#100-520-03)
- Chain End Couplings (#100-520-04)
- Wooden Cutting Guide
- Wire Cutters
1. Make Chain
Attach one end coupling to the end of the brass chain and place coupling loop through nail on the wooden guide.
Cut the chain to 3" length, or at the blue line on the wooden cutting guide.
Remove the chain from the wooden cutting guide and place another end coupling on the other end of the chain.
2. Cut Tubing
Cut the vinyl tubing to 3" length, or at the blue line on the wooden cutting guide when place against the nail.
3. Assemble Strap
Attach a spring to one end fitting and crimp. Drop chain through cut tube. Attach spring to the opposite end fitting and crimp.
4. Final Assembly
Attach springs to the Bracket, looping through the inside of the Bracket and out, crimping in place.
